Abstract
To solve the problem of failing to effectively match bug report in query reduction, we propose a query reduction method based on multiple types of information, MIQR. The method divides the information in the description of bug report into three different types: stack trace, program element, and natural language. Different term weighting algorithms are used to calculate term weights for different information, and keywords are extracted based on term weights. A new query is constructed based on the summary and keywords. We conducted experiments on 5,139 bug reports. The results show that our method is superior to the state-of-the-art method.
