Abstract
A simulation model for damage detection of stealth coating was established. The influences of detection frequency, array number, excitation aperture, scanning step and other parameters on the detection results and imaging results were discussed. At the same time, the test results are in good agreement with the simulation results through verification of the detection test, indicating that the proposed ultrasonic phased array detection method can be used for in-situ detection of stealth coating in the external field.
