Abstract
Based on the current environment and available methods for wastewater treatment, this paper presents the application and mechanisms of photocatalysis in wastewater treatment. The approach, using a review and comparison, measured the application and benefits of photocatalysis. Results are shown to be consistent with theoretical predictions and to be a significant improvement over previous work, such as that of photocatalysis’s predecessors. The work presented here has far reaching implications for future photocatalysis research and may one day help to address issues such as the mechanisms and applications of cognitive photocatalysis.
