Abstract
Additive manufacturing (3DP) technology is booming and is gradually widely used in mold manufacturing. It has high-cost performance and less material waste and can well meet the requirements of future manufacturing industry for rapidness, personalization, integration and being lightweight. This paper mainly introduces the current development trend of 3D printing technology and its advantages and disadvantages, as well as the current situation of the integration of related technologies and tire mold production, analyzes and solves the pain points of the process and the technical feasibility, and brings new opportunities for the industry.
