Abstract
With the expansion of UAV mission, the traditional evaluation methods can not meet the requirements of modern mission design. In more and more airfoils, how to design and select airfoils suitable for mission requirements for aerodynamic design of aircraft is the primary problem that designers have to face. In this paper, aiming at the problems existing in the design of aerodynamic performance requirements of 40kg fixed-wing UAV, carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composite material was selected to design the wing in a flat configuration, and a fully carbon fiber UAV wing with a wingspan of two meters was designed. Then, the performance of the airfoil was evaluated through simulation analysis, providing a scientific basis for the selection of the airfoil for the aerodynamic design of UAV.
