Abstract
This paper proposes a distributed GRS code system based on cooperative communication and channel coding. Taking advantage of the fact that GRS codes are MDS codes, a relay information selection algorithm is proposed to optimize the relay information selection method, so as to obtain a relatively better weight distribution of the codeword set at the destination point. In addition, based on the channel coding characteristics, two joint decoding algorithms are proposed at the destination, namely NAIVE decoding algorithm and SMART decoding algorithm. The performance improvement of the relay information selection algorithm on the distributed GRS code system is verified by Monte-Carlo simulations, and the performance of the two joint decoding algorithms is compared.
