Abstract
For the past few years, the Internet of Things (IoT), a wireless communication mode, was rising rapidly with the development of the Internet. it had been widely used in the field of greenhouse planting recently, such as "IOT + Agriculture" as the trend of new agricultural development in the future. Wherein, Dendrobiums, which were difficult to pick were demanded by more and more consumers. Although the emergence of Dendrobium greenhouse planting made the quality and yield of Dendrobium are guaranteed to a certain extent. To tackle the problem, IoT greenhouse monitoring management and control system based on Arduino for Dendrobium cultivation, is proposed in this paper, consists of four modules, data acquisition module base on ESP8266 Arduino working for data acquisition, action module for hardware controlling, wireless transition module working as the local area network for the system, and data processing module based on MQTT working as the frond-end system. Thus, a remote monitoring of greenhouse environment can control the growth conditions of Dendrobium, including air quality, and soil fertilizer factors according to the requirements of Dendrobium growth habits on the growth environment strictly. In practice, the proposed system can protect Dendrobium growth factors dynamically to assist farmers to make better planting plans and improve the quality of Dendrobium.
