Abstract
The refined wind tunnel test of the wall pressure of hypersonic vehicles is crucial for the development and verification of hypersonic numerical simulation methods. As an advanced non-contact optical measurement method, pressure-sensitive coating PSP can realize the fine measurement of global wall pressure with high spatio-temporal resolution and the accurate indication of the associated flow structure. However, the severe test conditions of various hypersonic wind tunnels make the development and application of PSP measurement technologies challenging. Through the research progress in hypersonic PSP measurement technology, combined with the application examples of PSP in two typical hypersonic wind tunnels such as shock wave wind tunnels and temporary hypersonic wind tunnels, the challenges faced by hypersonic PSP measurement technology and corresponding countermeasures are discussed. Finally, the future development of hypersonic PSP is envisaged.
