Abstract
The power transformer is the most widely used equipment in the power grid. Once it stops running due to a fault, it may threaten the safe operation of the power grid in severe cases. Especially with the increase of the grid voltage level and the increase of power supply demand, the voltage level and capacity of the transformer are also increasing, and the leakage magnetic field strength of the transformer increases with the increase of its capacity, resulting in eddy current loss and stray loss. It also increases, which may eventually lead to overheating of the windings. Due to the lack of effective monitoring methods for the transformer hot spot temperature and winding temperature, the safe operation of the transformer will be at risk. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the management and intelligent monitoring of the power transformer load. In this paper, a set of intelligent management system of power transformer load is formed by analyzing the hot spot calculation and cooling mode of the transformer, which greatly improves the stability of the power system.
