At present, the problem of gas over limit in the upper corner of the mining face with U-shaped ventilation is common. The reason for the upper corner gas limit was analyzed, and the method for the upper corner gas limit was summarized and solved. At the same time, low level borehole exhaust mined-out area gas was targeted at the upper corner of the Liyazhuang mine to improve the upper corner gas limit and keep the upper corner gas at around 0.5%. During the exhaust period, there were no incidents of gas over-topping in the upper corner.
