Abstract
In order to effectively play the role of "ballast stone" of medium- and long-term electric power transaction, it is particularly important to optimize the combination of medium- and long-term electric power units. Large scale complex constraints medium- and long-term unit combination is a large-scale mixed integer programming problem in essence. In this paper, a model dimension reduction technique is proposed to solve the long-term unit combination optimization problem of large-scale power grid. The core idea of model dimension reduction is to identify invalid shaping variables and network constraints, merge adjacent time periods, reduce the feasible region, and obtain a more compact and effective optimization space. Through simple calculation before time-consuming large-scale optimization calculation, the optimization neighborhood that the optimal feasible solution may exist is determined in advance, and the optimization range of mixed integer programming is reduced. Then, efficient and mature mathematical optimization software package is called in the reduced optimization space to achieve efficient and optimal solution.
