Abstract
Short-wave infrared band images have the characteristics of night vision, fog penetration, optical glass penetration and high recognition, which have significant applications in the fields of night vision detection and surveillance, remote sensing telemetry systems, infrared imaging guidance and optoelectronic countermeasures. Short-wave infrared imaging contains information which cannot be provided by Visible light, Night Vision, MWIR and LWIR, and is crucial for obtaining comprehensive information about the object in the infrared band. With the development of various camouflage technologies, the difficulty of object reconnaissance and identification also increases. Single band imaging reconnaissance is gradually difficult to meet the complex battlefield environment. To meet the all-weather reconnaissance in different environments, a dual-band optical system of short-wave infrared and visible light can be adopted. The short-wave infrared optical system uses a 640x512 InGaAs detector with an image element size of 20μm, and the visible optical system employs a 1920x1080 color CMOS device with an image element size of 4.5μm.The optical system of visible light and short-wave infrared is designed with a common optical path. The object radiation in the Short-wave infrared and Visible wavelengths are both imaged by the same objective lens, and then the image is received by the detector of the respective wavelengths after passing through the beam splitting prism, so that the co-axial images of the short-wave infrared and visible wavelengths can be obtained simultaneously. Finally the analysis of image quality shows that the lens design for short-wave infrared/visible imaging meets requirements in the application.
