Abstract
In view of the leakage of a metal corrugated hose in use, fault location and mechanism analysis are carried out, and improvement measures are proposed. According to the analysis, the main reason of the failure is that the influence of long-time vibration and transportation conditions are unconsidered, which leads to improper selection of corrugated hose. Due to the failure to design effective bending radius and binding point during the layout process, the metal corrugated hose is overstressed and finally fatigue cracked. By analyzing the production process and working condition of hose, the main failure factors are found out. The leakage failure problem of metal corrugated hose after long-time using is solved by optimizing the batch forming and installation state of metal corrugated hose.
