Abstract
A prototype imaging system for digital x-ray imaging of the chest is under development in our research laboratory. The image receptor consists of a 40/30/22-cm image intensifier and an electronic camera employing a 1320 x 1035-pixel scientific grade CCD. The veiling glare-to-primary ratio and spatial resolution have been measured.
