Abstract
In this paper, the fretting wear phenomenon of involute spline is studied by using the combination of Archard model and SWT parameter method. The results show that the fretting wear process of involute spline is a process of fretting wear and fretting fatigue, which is intense at first, and then the backlash of each splined tooth tends to be even gradually. The wear amount and cumulative damage of each splined tooth will increase steadily.
