Abstract

The “People’s City” is proposed under the background of China’s urban development. The 54 digital information related with “People’s City” were selected by SPSS.20, and were explored through Chi-square test and Cross-tabulation analysis. It is found that the variables of the report year (P<0.001), the newspaper level (P<0.001), the information source (P<0.001) and the report city (P<0.001) showed significant differences, and “Shanghai” (N=27) will become the digital model of “People’s City”. Moreover, “governance”(word frequency weighting=0.853) and “construction” (word frequency weighting=0.825) are the core issues of the “People’s City”. Based on these data results, more diversified digital image of the “People’s City” should be more considered.
