Abstract
Aiming at solving the problems of easily stolen manhole covers or equipment in the well, delayed manual inspection, high operation and maintenance cost, and easy tilt posing a safety hazard for electricity wells, an intelligent manhole cover monitoring system based on NB-IoT technology was designed. Positioning technology is one of the important technologies in intelligent manhole cover monitoring system. In order to achieve accurate positioning of manhole cover, time difference of arrival (TDOA) positioning Algorithm is applied to intelligent manhole cover monitoring system. The TDOA positioning algorithm used in this paper is based on Taylor series, which calculates the position based on the target initial position, and has better positioning accuracy. Simulations are implemented, and the results show that positioning accuracy of the algorithm in this paper is about 5 m and this positioning algorithm can realize the positioning of intelligent manhole cover.
