In order to more scientifically and reasonably carried out the comprehensive evaluation of the tech-economic benefit of pumped storage hydropower station, the index system composed of operational effect functional benefit, financial benefit and environmental benefit is selected according to its tech-economic benefit characteristics. Combining the improve method of sequence relation analysis with entropy weight method, the subjective weight is determined with method of sequence relation analysis and the objective weight is determined with entropy weight method, while the evaluation grade of the tech-economic benefit of pumped storage hydropower station is calculated through establishing a comprehensive evaluation model with matter element analysis method. Based on the relevant data of a pumped storage hydropower station, the evaluation indexes are quantitatively processed with the qualitatively and quantitively combined method, and then the relevant evaluation criteria are established, thus the comprehensive evaluation grade for its tech-economic benefit is obtained at last. The result shows that most of the indexes of the tech-economic benefit of the hydropower station reach their expected targets, while the applicability and effectiveness of the evaluation model are verified. Through the analysis on the study result, both the indexes to be strengthened and the indexes those reach the relevant criteria of the hydropower station are obtained, which are not only convenient for targeted taking the corresponding measures to improve the techeconomic benefit of the hydropower station, but also have referential significances for enhancing its tech-economic development in the days to come.
