Abstract
Regarding the difficulties in the manual calculation of the generator heating dissipation system of diesel generators, the physical and mathematical models for the finite element analysis of the generators are built, which is illustrated with a marine axial ventilation hydro cooling. The fluid simulation package of Flow Simulation is adopted to analyze the axial ventilation system of the motor, from which the distribution and major parameters of the heating dissipation flow field of the motor are obtained, under normal working conditions. According to the distribution of the flow field, it is found that the new laminated coupling cannot block the heating dissipation of the motor, but can optimize the conventional heat dissipation air duct.
