Abstract
Nowadays, the rapid development of online car-hailing has had a great impact on the taxi industry, and the management and decision-making of relevant departments are also facing new challenges. Based on the taxi and online car-hailing order data in Xiamen City in 2020, this paper compares and analyses the similarities and differences in carrying time, carrying mileages mileage, and time distribution characteristics between online car-hailing and taxis, and uses the theory of information entropy to balance The overall characteristics of the spatial distribution of online car-hailing and taxi pick-up points in Xiamen are compared with the degree of concentration and the degree of aggregation. The results show that the operating hours of online car-hailing are more flexible, and the intensity of taxi operations is relatively high; the two hot areas have a high duplication rate, but the taxi service area is mainly concentrated in Xiamen Island, and the coverage of online car-hailing is wider. This article can provide effective data support for online car-hailing supervision and the reform of the taxi industry.
