Abstract
The Karnaphuli River tunnel project in Bangladesh is a two-line highway tunnel, the tunnel is excavated by the mode of "one machine and two tunnels". The receiving section of left line is located in the highly permeable fine sand strata in the coastal area, the conventional shield receiving technology is easy to cause sand and water gushing and lead to the failure of shield receiving. In order to ensure the safety and efficiency of shield receiving in overseas resource-poor areas, also connect the construction technology of shield translation, rotation and re-launching, the steel sleeve receiving technology is adopted, other more, the risk point of the construction technology is predicted and the corresponding prevention and control and emergency measures are formulated to ensure the smooth implementation for the large diameter slurry shield steel sleeve receiving. The large-diameter slurry balanced shield receiving process has been continuously optimized at the tunnel construction site in Bangladesh, from the sleeve design and deformation control, working shaft ground reinforcement, tunnel portal chiseling, shield construction monitoring into the tunnel, the parameters control, tunnel portal sealing and the receiving section segments stability control theory analysis, simulation test and method of optimization, eventually formed a set of large diameter slurry balance shield steel sleeve receiving key construction technology.
