Abstract
The transportation of dangerous chemical cargo is an important part of sea transportation. Due to the special physical and chemical properties of the cargo and the complexity of the behavior and environment in the shipping process, the uncertainty of transportation safety is very high. This study introduces the brittleness theory of complex systems into the study of maritime dangerous chemical transportation systems. By introducing brittleness link entropy, it reveals the brittleness relationship between maritime dangerous chemical transportation systems and subsystems, and establishes a brittleness correlation model based on the brittleness correlation between systems. The research calculates the brittleness link entropy between the systems to explore the impact of the correlation between the systems on the brittleness excitation of the entire system and lead to collapse. The calculation results of specific cases show that the instability of human factors and ship factors are important reasons for the fragility of the system. When the safety management of the maritime dangerous chemical transportation system is carried out, the fragility factors related to human factors and ship factors should be improved. An important way to prevent accidents and reduce the impact of related sub-factors is to reduce the identity and volatility of the sub-factors.
