Abstract
Blockchain technology has been the focus of attention from all walks of life in recent years, and "blockchain + shipping" has set off a wave. In order to explore the advantages of blockchain technology in the shipping industry, this article adopts the SWOT-PEST analysis method to start from the aspects of politics, law, economy, science and technology, and social and humanities. We analyze the disadvantages, opportunities and threats, and use the SWOT-PEST method to determine 4 combination strategies of growth, diversification, reversal, and defense. Through the FAHP analysis method, we can select the strategy that is most in line with the current shipping development from the four combination strategies.
