Abstract
Compact, precise laser diode current control up to 15A/35V is perfect for laser diode pumping, materials processing, spectroscopy and industrial micro-machining. It is also used in QCL-based gas sensing field units. The LD15CHA combines low noise, zero leakage current and a wide PD current range with the highest commercially available bandwidth. Integrated protection circuits, including brown out and overvoltage protection, ensure safe operation. A TTL-compatible enable feature and optical bench mount make it suited to laser labs. This product demonstration covers how to quickly set one up for your application. Topics covered include laser diode, modulation and power input connections, selecting operating mode and photodiode current range, how to set the limit and setpoint, and how to modulate. Several real world examples demonstrate how to take advantage of its versatility.
