Abstract
Today the cell phone has become the primary camera, for both video and photography, worldwide. The importance of the camera quality is high for many consumers when selecting a phone. In the production process, the photo and video quality is top priority. An important part of the quality is the position of the camera lens from the glass body of the phone. Two critical features are the space between the lens and glass body, and the angle or slope of the lens to the glass. STIL, a member of the Marposs Group, has developed the MPLS-Deep View which can handle this important task. Both gap and slope are measured without the problems of: - Shadowing like triangulation technics - Common problems when using LASER to measure glass. STIL-Marposs, the inventor of the Confocal Chromatic Technology, continues to drive the innovation in distance, thickness and surface topography measurements using Confocal Chromatic Technology. STIL-Marposs provides non-contact measurement capabilities, with sub-micron precision, unsensitivity to environment light, unsensitivity to materials and surface texture capable to compete with Laser sensors on most demanding applications. STIL portfolio covers a large set application with: • point sensors from diameter 4 mm to 85 mm, measuring ranges from 100µm to 10 cm, resolution up to 10 nm • line sensors with lines length from 1 mm to 12 mm • line camera for inline inspection at micrometer scale Marposs is the world leader in quality and process control devices for all your manufacturing needs.
