Abstract
An n-dimensional Algebra computer code, NDIMEN, based on the Generalized Balanced Tern-ary (GBT) system is applied to the processing of "Battlefield Obscuration"--Dust, Smoke, Artillery Bursts. The obscurant data is obtained from the Atmospheric Sciences Laboratory's Multispectral Image Data Acquisition System (MIDAS), which video records multi-wavelength time-sequenced images of the obscurant cloud from a stereo-pair or more MIDAS camera stations. Examples of the GBT algebra and its application to 3-D objects plus the potential for modeling combat clouds will be given.
