Abstract
The application of Fourier transform analysis to problems of optical imagery has been extensively discussed in the literature for over 20 years. Since the famous book of Duffieux (Ref. 1) in 1946, summarizing his previous articles, many articles, too numerous to cite here, have been written on the subject.
